What You Need to Know
About Your Free "Speed
Debate" Session
Tips: If you are new to our community, your first ever participation is FREE. For subsequent sessions, you'll be required to pay a small fee. You can either choose to pay per session by booking any session type(s) in any of the Speed Debate categories, or by purchasing a plan that gives you access to multiple sessions over a period of one month (if slot(s) are available).
What are Speed debates: These are generally 1hr plus debates that are done in groups of pairs (2 vs 2) or individually (1 vs 1). For the 18+ category, the loser gets nothing, while the winner receives a N10,000 cash prize paid 4 days after the debate session has been posted to our YouTube channel and votes have been counted and the winner (with the majority) declared. On the other hand, for the under 18 category, the winner gets same but the looser gets a participatory compensation prize of N2,000.
To win you need to have the majority with a minimum of 20 UNIQUE votes with the name of the participant on our YT channel, in the comment section of the session's video.
If anything goes wrong with your schedule (Free/paid session), we would be sure to reschedule for a different and convenient date and time.
